Converse Hit The Marketing Hard

I challenge you not to love this song. Converse are engaging in a pretty full-on marketing campaign to celebrate the Chuck Taylor's 100 years in business, and have arranged a slew of music artist collaborations and resulting singles.

First off the mark is N.E.R.D. with Julian Casablancas and Santogold with the track My Drive Thru. Despite complaints that the guitar riff is boring, I actually quite like it. It's called sampling, people, get used to it. I think my favourite thing about this track though is the drum sounds - maybe it's my speakers but they sound so vintagey; pretty impressed with the production on this one, though N.E.R.D. rarely disappoints.
